How much does it cost to stay?

Our rates depend on how long you are staying, and the size of the property you need. For instance: a 3 month stay would cost $700 per week in a 1 bedroom apartment or $2100 per week in a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house.

Is cleaning included?

Yes, all of our stays include weekly cleaning and linen change. Our guests say it is a great feeling to return to the house and find everything clean and fresh.

Are consumables included?

Yes, all of our bookings include replenishing the consumables each week. This includes toilet paper, dishwashing supplies, dishwasher tablets, laundry liquid, air freshener, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and tissues.

Is bedding included and is it laundered?

All bedding is included and serviced weekly. Beds are made up and ready to sleep in when you arrive. You will find each bed has an electric blanket, mattress protector, fitted and flat sheets, doona and doona cover, pillows with pillow protectors and pillow cases, and a spare blanket/quilt in the wardrobe. Beds are remade with fresh sheets during each weekly clean.

Are towels included?

Yes, all towels are included and refreshed weekly. There is a towel and face washer for each sleeping place (i.e. 2 towels and 2 face washers per queen bed). Each bathroom has a bathmat and hand towel. Tea towels are also supplied.

Is the kitchen equipped?

Yes, you will find our kitchens are filly equipped with everything you might need. There are generous amounts of crockery and cutlery, as well as plenty of pots and pans. As well as the appliances you expect, we also supply rice cookers, electric frypans and stick mixers. If you decide to do some baking, there are mixing bowls, measuring cup and spoons, scales, cake tins and so on. We have tried to think of everything!

Is there parking for guests’ vehicles?

All of our properties have off-street parking except The Stables. All of our houses have covered off-street parking (many with remote garage access). All of our apartments have off-street parking for one vehicle. With our cottages, Melody Lane has a secure carport while The Stables has on-street parking. All properties also have access to on-street parking.

Do you have properties with multiple bathrooms?

Yes, there are at least 2 bathrooms in most of our 3 and 4 bedroom houses. We often have bookings where colleagues are sharing and need multiple bathrooms. We have a 4 bedroom house that has bathrooms. Our 1 and 2 bedroom apartments have 1 bathroom.

We have all adults staying, do you have more than one queen sized bed?

Yes, all of our properties have multiple queen sized beds (some have queen beds in all bedrooms). We have a 4 bedroom house with queen beds in all 4 bedrooms. King single beds are in all of our twin rooms (these are the same length as a queen bed and are wider than a normal single bed). With all beds being larger you can ensure that everyone will be comfortable.

How long can we stay?

We specialize in longer bookings. Our minimum booking is 1 month. We don’t have a maximum length of booking. Some of our guests have stayed for more than 2 years while working on projects in the area.

We are not sure when our project will be completed, are we able to stay until it is finished?

Our guests are able to secure the house so that their booking can keep extending. In order to do this they pay 2 months initially and then ensure they are paid 4 weeks in advance at all times. This means we will turn away other bookings and the house will be available for them as long as they need it.

We are coming to Ballarat for a weekend, will your accommodation suit us?

We specialize in longer stays (1 month or more). This means that we are unfortunately not able to take tourist booking.

What payment methods are available?

We will send you an invoice. You can pay using direct bank transfer, Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
